Welcome Swatch Queens,

With summer approaching us in less than a week I did my rounds trying to find my basic summer essentials, you know tanning mist, face masks, nail polish and of course a couple of makeup items always seem to find themselves in my basket. As I make my way towards the flip flop section of the drugstore there they were perfectly cross merchandised six amazing makeup bags just waiting for me. Two different collections to gratify  multiple buyers.

The first collection is my favorite because it screams Summer Summer Summer Time (in my Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Fresh voice). The vibrancy of these colors are GIVING ME LIFE!!!! Lets not forget the pattern. The Aztec inspired print really made these bags stand out. Im a sucker for things with quotes, monograms and graphics, which made this purchase even sweeter. The first bag is a basic makeup bag in a soft wicker material with the Aztec print by the zipper, the zipper is neon pink and has a cute tassel attached to it . The words  “ Just Beachin’ ” are written on it. The next one is a bigger bag same materials but it has double compartments with the print as a border surrounding the bag. The phrase ” Ocean Air Salty Hair” is written on it . The last bag is my favorite by far, it’s basically two clutches in one. You get one clutch in the Aztec print which you can see and appreciate the whole pattern with the tassel on the zipper but as a bonus you get a bigger sized clutch in clear which holds your mini clutch inside with the cutest gold button. Of course Im already planning… I envision couple of outfits I can wear using the clear bag as an actual purse instead of storage for my makeup.

 

The second collection is more classic, it reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in the movie Breakfast At Tiffany’s. It is sort of basic but chic at the same time. The bags come in three different sizes as well, two are all white with black polka dots and a nice coral fabric along the gold zipper. The phrase “First of All You’re Really Pretty” adorns the lower right hand side of the bag in gold script. The domed bag is a little different, it’s a baby pink hue with white polka dots and bobby pins stating ” I Got 99 Bobby Pins but I Can’t Find One”. I was sold on this one just for the phrase alone. Seriously where do you think these pins go???
