” National Nude Day “

In observance of ” National Nude Day “, I had to dig deep into my inner nudist. What better trend than going bare? Bare makeup that is, but let’s face every cosmetic line has their own rendition. Believe me I go through alot of trial and error when it comes to picking out the best nude lip color for my skin tone. I have returned alot of lippies that just completely washed me out leaving me to throw in the towel. But a true beauty enthusiast never accepts defeat or leaves a trend untouched. I’ve compiled a collection of my favorite nudies.

L’Oreal is doing big things with their new line of matte lipsticks, the formula is bomb and the shades are flaterring. Im sure you won’t be disappointed, I highly recommend these. I picked up two Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Nudist and Shake Down. Shake Down is more towards the browns in the collection. I had to splurge on their Colour Riche Matte Lipsticks as well in the shades Matte-Cademia, Matte-Caron and Matte-Sterpiece. I love how creative the names are in this collection. The last thing I like to reommend are their Infallible Paints Mattes in the shades Skinny Dip, Tongue Tied, Festival and Commander. I also love their Infallible Paints in the shade Taupeless.

NYX Lingerie lip line is another staple in my nude collection and will definitely bring endless looks for you with a pretty good range in shades. I currently own Corset, Lace Detail, Baby Doll, Honeymoon, Satin Ribbon and Bedtime Flirt. Let’s not forget lip liners.I am obsessed with their lip liners, they literally have every shade imaginable and the prices are GREAT. If you don’t own any you are officially missing out!!

I had to break out my lip balms. Maybelline got it when it comes to their Baby Lip Balms. My current favorites as of now are the Baby Lip Crayon in the shades Toasted Taupe and Blush Burst. These aren’t kiddie balms they are super pigmented like their lipsticks but with a burst of moisture. Great for everyday use and these shades pairs well with their lip liner in the shade Toast.
