What’s Up Swatch Queens,

I finally got my August subscription, there was a delay with my Live Glam, but it’s here now so let’s jump right in. Those of you who follow my blog already know that I cancelled my Sephora Play Box subscription and was in search for the next best thing, not quite sure if I found it yet but I did replace Sephora with the Allure Beauty Box. I found this scrolling through my Instagram feed. Here are the deets it’s $15 a month ( yea I know not too fond of the price either ). But you do get $5 off the first month and I received a free mini eyeshadow pallette from Doucce.

Hey Honey Biomimetic Honey Peel Cream – Kind of scared to try this because of my sensitive skin. Price $65

Vichy Mineral 89 Skin Fortifying Daily Booster – I wil be adding a drop of this to my morning skin care routine. I love Vichy skin cleansers so I know this will be great. Price $29.50

Rodial Smokey Eye Pen – Price $21

Doucce Freematic Eye Shadow Quad was created by the editors at Allure. The quad includes a shimmery plum, a matte black, a pearly white and a slate grey which retails for $35 and i got for free. The shades are nice but not my cup of tea. Good thing every couple of months you will receive new shades to pop into your pallette.

Overall I give it a 3 out of 5, love the box for storage but I’m not intersted in hair care products and thought it was a free gift the eyeshadow pallette just doesnt work for me. Hope next month is better or it’s the chopping block with them as well.

Next is my IPSY subscription, this month’s theme is Good Vibes Only. There were 3 different bag styles this month inspired by sparkly summer sunsets. Everyone got one from the 3 designs Peace Love Lipstick, Wild & Free or Good Vibes Only which is the one I got. I like the Bohemian feel of it and I love the gold tassel on the zipper. I also retook the quiz, so that I can get different items. I’m starting to realize that I get alot of mascaras and masks. This month package was a gold color instead of the hot pink, I wonder why???

Even though this month I only received three brushes, they definitely didn’t disappoint me. I love the rose gold accent and durability of these brushes. I also finally redeemed some points last month so with this order I got the free brush I chose.
